How To Fix Broken Powder Blush

March 28, 2014

You dropped your beauty or 'kikay' kit by accident and as you inspected the contents... you found out that your favorite blush (that you just bought) is now broken into chunks of compact powder pieces. Want to know how to fix it? Here's how!

FYI: I learned this method in the internet. But the photos in this blog are totally mine to prove that the  method really works.

Here's my broken blush powder :(
What you need:
  • Rubbing Alcohol (Any brand will do)
  • Toothpick or Spoon
  • Dropper (Optional)

Steps:

1. Crush the chunks of blush in its container using a toothpick or spoon.

2. Taking the rubbing alcohol, use a medicine dropper to drop a little on the crushed blush.

3. Add a little bit more alcohol to make sure that the powder will be a bit clumpy.

4. Using the spoon or your fingers, press into the mix making it compact and smooth.

5. You should end up with the powder looking like this:

6. Store this at a safe and dry place for around 2 days or until the alcohol in the powder dries out.

NOTE:
This method works also works on compact eyeshadows.

So there! I hope you find this post to be helpful. Please let me know if you did this on your own and how did it turn out. Until next time... TOODLES!
