Since it would be a while before we would be able to see each other, Joko asked me out on one of our brunch dates to Maginhawa Street in Quezon City. It was actually an unplanned choice to eat there since we originally talked about to eat at another place nearby. We parked in front of the building and I immediately pointed and said "Hey look! It's the Breakfast Table!" since I've been hearing a lot of good things from friends about the restaurant.

We immediately stepped inside and the friendly waiters and waitresses greeted us and seated us at a quaint little table. J and I read through the menu and everything sounded so yummy! So we ended up with ordering the "Binagoongan Omurice" and the "Steak and Eggs". We waited for a while, which was fine since of course it wasn't a fastfood joint. 

When our food finally came it looked glorious!

The Binagoongan Omurice (Omelette & Rice ~~ I just got that while writing this blog down! *BOOM! MIND BLOWN!*) has crispy pork binagoongan rice wrapped in a yummy omelette. This meal was a good choice for me as someone who is just starting to learn to eat eggs (yes, I normally avoid eggs but since my boyfriend insisted... here we are!). The taste was obviously salty because of the bagoong but it wasn't overpowering that you had to grab a drink of water to help it go down your throat. The side salad was good too! It was dressed in vinaigrette and some part of me wished the plate had more of it!

We enjoyed eating the food we ordered that it wasn't a big surprise that we were able to finish eating so quickly.
